   With over three dozen restaurants in West Yellowstone, choosing a place to eat can be a bit confusing here.  The folowing is a brief decription of some of the options West Yellowstone offers. 

Bakery-Deli

Bear Country Bake Shop & Eatery  Attached to Arrowleaf,  Bear Country Bake Shop & Eatery open for breakfast.  From the oatmeal sunflower loaf's to the sandwich wraps, Bear Country Bake Shop is a unique West Yellowstone experience.  If your celebrating in Yellowstone, this is the place to purchase your cakes.  Open seasonally.

Ernie's Deli  Ernies Deli is a well established breakfast and sandwich shoppe.  You can call the night before and they will have a box luch made for you in the morning.  Open year round and offering to-go beer and wine.

High Altitude Catering LLC From small gatherings to Corprate events, Julie Steinbach, a local Massage Therapist, is now also catering!   This company is set up to do catering, box luches for groups, as well as event planning.  Please call ahead at 406-646-1139 or e-mail her at highaltitude@inbox.com for any of your catering needs.

Gusher Pizza & Sandwich Shoppe  Pizza, sandwiches and Wednesday all you can eat spaghetti night the Gusher offers a varitey of meals to choose from.  Open seasonally, they offer beer and wine selections.  Delivery is offered starting at lunch.

Pete's Rocky Mountain Pizza & Pasta From homemade spaghetti, full Italian dinners, salads to pizza, Pete's is a family owned restaurant.  They have a beer and wine selections.  Delivery is offered starting at dinner.  Open seasonally.

Wild West Pizza  With world renowned macaroni and cheese, lasagna, spaghetti, to their specialty pizzas with the choice of white or red sauce, Wild West has somthing to make every mouth happy.  Open year round for lunch and dinner.  Delivery is offered starting at dinner.

Bistro

Sydney's Mountian Bistro  Looking for a change from the classic Montana dinner?  Sydney's is it.  They offer items ranging from calimari to butternut squash ravioli.  They have an intensive wine list to choose from as well.  Open year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are located next to Dariy Queen on Canyon St.

BBQ

Bear Tooth BBQ  A locals favorite for bbq!  Bear Tooth is located on Canyon St.  It is open seasonally for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  As well as great bbq they also offer a beer and wine menu. 

Buckaroo Bill's  Open summers only with outdoor seating, Buckaroo Bill's  specializes in bbq and icecream.  With a kicked back family style atmosphere the staff will be sure to accomidate your needs.

Chinese

Chinatown Restaurant  Open seasonally, Chinatown Restaurant is WestYellowstone's only chinese restaurant.  They will cator to large groups if you call ahead to make arrangements.  Delivery is offered.

American

Bullwinkles Saloon & Eatery This Packer Bar and restraunt is a excellent place to go watch the game. Located on Madison Ave. Serving steaks, seafood, wildgame, to sandwiches and salads.  Open year round for lunch and dinner.  They also have a extensive wine list.  If you have a large group please call ahead to make arrangements. 

Bullwinkles West Located on Canyon St.  This location is the sister property to the above.  Serving sandwiches and finger food, this is the more casual restaurant and bar.  West is also open year round for lunch and dinner.

Oregon Short Line Restaurant  Located in the Holiday Inn, the atmosphere is set by the 1903 Executive Railcar.  They serve everything from steaks, trout, salmon and wild game to salads on the lighter side. Open year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  This establishment is family friendly.  Call ahead for large groups.

Bar N Restaurant  Located 6 miles west of West Yellowstone, on a guest ranch the Bar N is a unique experience.  Start out with Happy Hour move on to dinner, and finish with delious homemade deserts.  Seating is limited so reservations are advised.

Kiwi Takeaway  Specializing in half pound fresh (bison or regular) hamburgers, meat pies and homemade soups.  Everything is guaranteed to be fresh and homeade.  Nothing flash here.  This establishment is set up to be like a Takeaway from the owners home country of New Zealand.  You may eat in or take it to-go.  Open year round for lunch and dinner.  Located on Hwy 20 and Electric. Since opening in May of 2008 Kiwi Takeaway is quickly becoming a locals favorite.

Running Bear Pancake House Open seasonally in West Yellowstone, Running Bear specializes in Pancakes.  They offer a full breakfast and lunch.  They have fresh homemade bakery goods as well.  Running Bear has a children's menu with something for every child.  Delivery is offered.

Canyon Street Grill  This is a dinner with a 50's theme.  Open seasonaly for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The grill mainly servers sandwiches, soups and salads.  They are located on Canyon St. and are family friendly.

Old Town Cafe  Located on Madision Ave.  Old Town is a family run business that has been in West Yellowstone for over 20 years. Homemade hashbrowns have made this place a staple in West.  Open seasonally for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Outpost  Right out the back door of the Kelly Inn, this restaurant is open summers only for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  With homeade pies and a homemade salad bar.  You may also have a coctail with dinner.  They offer a seniors menu as well.

Timberline Cafe Also located right out the back door of the Kelly Inn, specializing in homade pies, a vegetarian and seniors menu with a homemade salad bar.  They also offer a kids menu. 

Three Bear Restaurant  Open seasonally for breakfast and dinner.  They offer steaks, seafood, a soup and salad bar for dinner.  Breakfast consists of  omelets to bluberry pancakes.  The Grizzly Lounge which offers a full bar is attached to the Three Bear Restaurant.

Eino's  Located 8 miles north of West Yellowstone, Eino's is a once in a life time experience. Open year round for dinner.  Serving homemade cheddar potatoes in the winter.  Eino's has a room full of broilers designated for you to cook your own steaks, chicken or burgers.  The atmosphere is very homey and laid back.  Eino's is an excellent place to gather with friends. 

Happy Hour Located on Hebgan Lake, Happy Hour is a bar and restaurant.  They are open seasonally serving lunch and dinners.  Happy Hour is know for its taco bar and famous for its cajun inspired crawfish parties.  Please call ahead for details. 

Longhorn  The Longhorn is a new establishment specializing in Buffalo Ribeye's.  Located one mile west of Happy Hour, the views of the lake from the dinning room are breathtakeing.  Open seasonally, this is a great place to take family and friends out for dinner. 

Trappers Family Restaurant  Located in the Days Inn, Trappers is open year round only serving breakfast.

Arrowleaf  Looking for the ultimate icecream?  You have found it.  Located on Canyon St. Arrowleaf will serve you any type of icecream flavor you can imagine.  They serve the icecream in homemade waffle cones.  Open seasonally, they also have a small grill for serving burgers and sandwiches.
