West Yellowstone Accommodations

The Kelly Inn of West Yellowstone features 2 separate buildings, the Canyon Building and the Grizzly Building. Each building is non-smoking, features a variety of room types and are both pet-friendly. The Canyon building features classic western lodgepole pine furniture and decor, and is open year-round. The Grizzly building is great for families with more than a dozen rooms with double queen beds and two twin bunks. It has a more modern design and is open Summer only. Enjoy the many amenities of the Kelly Inn during your stay at either building. Check out the Canyon Building rooms and Grizzly Building rooms below.

Our Indoor Pool and hot tub are located in the Canyon Building - guests staying in both buildings have full access.  Each Building offers a Deluxe Continental Breakfast Buffet and all of our wonderful amenities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the Canyon Building and the Grizzly Building?
The Canyon Building is open year-round and features classic western lodgepole pine furniture, plus our indoor pool and hot tub. The Grizzly Building is open in summer and again from mid-January through late February, and guests consistently describe it as updated, quiet, and spotless, with more than a dozen family rooms featuring queens plus twin bunk beds. Guests of both buildings enjoy full access to all amenities, including the pool.
Do you have rooms for large families?
Yes. Our Grizzly Building family rooms sleep up to 6 with queen beds and twin bunk beds, and our largest family suite sleeps up to 7 across two rooms: one with a queen and a twin bed, the other with two bunk beds; one family of five wrote "Wow! It was so relaxing to have that space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers." In the Canyon Building, the Deluxe Double Queen with sofa bed sleeps up to 6.
Do you have rooms with jacuzzi tubs?
Yes. Our King Jacuzzi Suite in the Canyon Building is one of our largest rooms at 439 square feet, featuring a king bed, queen sofa bed, jetted tub/shower combo, and wet bar sink. It's a favorite for couples and anyone wanting to soothe tired muscles after a day in the park.
What comes standard in every room at the Kelly Inn?
Every room includes free high-speed Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, microwave, and mini refrigerator, individual heat and A/C, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, an alarm clock with USB charging ports, and a large lighted vanity separate from the tub and shower. Winter travelers also praise the storage space: "perfect for all my gear and helmets," as one snowmobiler put it.
Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, in both buildings. The Canyon Building has an accessible king room on the first floor with a roll-in shower, plus three upper-floor accessible kings with tubs. The Grizzly Building has an accessible queen-and-twin room with a roll-in shower and a barrier-free queen-and-twin room with a tub. Call us directly at (406) 646-4544 to reserve a specific room and floor.
Are rollaway beds and cribs available?
Yes, both are available with advance notice; ask at booking for current pricing. Most of our standard rooms fit a rollaway, bringing double queens up to a 5-person capacity.
Can I book a pet-friendly room in either building?
Yes, both the Canyon and Grizzly Buildings offer pet-friendly rooms, with no extra charge for your pet (registration required). First-floor Canyon rooms are the most requested for pets because their exterior doors make walks effortless. If you need a specific room type or floor with your pet, call us at (406) 646-4544 and we'll set it up.
I'm a light sleeper or have pet allergies. Which room should I ask for?
Ask for an upper floor. The Canyon Building's first floor hosts most of our pet-friendly rooms with exterior doors, which makes it wonderfully convenient and occasionally lively; upper-floor Canyon rooms and the Grizzly Building (which guests specifically call quiet) suit light sleepers and allergy-sensitive guests best. Call (406) 646-4544 and we'll note the placement.
Do any rooms have exterior entrances?
Yes. First-floor rooms in the Canyon Building offer both interior and exterior entrances; as one guest described it, "a front door to the outside, convenient for dog walks, and a back door to the hallway, convenient for breakfast and laundry." Ideal for loading gear and early park mornings too.
